Grantwell is a student-run, faculty-advised consulting program that is offered through Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Business. Through Grantwell, graduate-level college students impact the human services industry by offering pro-bono consulting services to non-profit and philanthropic entities.
Grantwell’s aim is to prioritize student experience, as we find value in the idea that students need exposure to working with real clients, on real projects, to solidify the theoretical knowledge they acquire in the classroom. The program cannot operate without our highly-valued non-profit partners. These clients set aside grant allocation, evaluation, and strategy projects for our student teams to undertake. Students work together with partners in a consultative role, delivering thoroughly professional results and recommendations that greatly benefit our client’s programs.
At Grantwell, students have an incomparable opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge they learn in the classroom by consulting with real-world clients on their allocation, strategy, or evaluation projects. Grantwell students have the opportunity to gain experience working with organizations in various fields, starting as early as their first semester of graduate school.
