Rahel earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications with a minor in Koine Greek from BYU–Hawaii. She is now completing her Master of Public Administration with a focus on Nonprofit Management at BYU’s Marriott School of Business. Since the age of 16, Rahel has been dedicated to refugee advocacy, working with integration programs in Germany, France, and Switzerland. She has presented her research on sustainable refugee integration at a United Nations Conference and has worked with various NGOs to enhance support for marginalized communities. As Editor-in-Chief for Ke Alaka’i News, Rahel managed a team of 27, led award-winning projects, and increased outreach by 16%. In her free time, Rahel enjoys sports, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
