8 Week Grant Writing Course

Anna Habben is a Nonprofit Strategic Planning and Fundraising Professional. She works for Mighty Penguin based in Salt Lake, Utah. She received her MPA from BYU.

The 8 week grant writing program focused on defining a grant, finding a grant, writing for a grant, financial stewardship, building relationships and then what to do after you have received the grant.

We had 6 teams during the Fall 2024 semester that each focused on grant writing. Through Anna’s course, one group achieved all the steps she taught us and received $22,557.
